    Provides short, simple and easy to read messages that can be copied and shared with members as a handout (i.e., church bulletins) or placed on bulletin boards.

This document contains 57 different handouts about issues that many in our communities will face. Topic areas include Asthma, Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention, Injury and Violence Prevention, Nutrition, Physical Activity, Schools and Tobacco.

These easy to read sheets can increase:

  • knowledge of ways to prevent chronic illnesses (those lasting 3 months or longer)
  • understanding of ways to control chronic illnesses, and
  • knowledge of resources available on the web to answer health questions


Provided in page and full page formats (with or without graphics) you'll be sure to find lots of uses for these. Feel free to add your own faith community's name, address, phone number, inspirational text, etc., on the bottom of each page.
