    Provides training to people across the state to lead evidence-based arthritis programs in their communities.

The mission of the North Carolina Arthritis Program is to prevent disability and improve quality of life for North Carolina adults with arthritis and other rheumatic conditions. The goals of the Program are to (1) increase participation in evidence-based interventions for arthritis, (2) raise awareness of opportunities for arthritis management, and (3) create and maintain federal, state, and local policies and environments supportive of arthritis management.
